Who We Are
What is most important is who we are not. We are not a law school career services office. We are practicing first and second year attorneys working for Vault 25 law firms throughout the country. We were in your shoes no more than 2-3 years ago, and successfully navigated through the OCI process, with the most coveted summer associate positions the market has to offer. A feat which the majority of law students never achieve.
We specialize in placement for 1L, 2L and 3L students through On Campus Interview (OCI) programs. We have experts focusing on cover letter and resume construction, interviewing training and summer associate skills. We tailor our focus to your goals, be it a summer associate position, federal clerkships or specialized fields such as intellectual property. The expert who works with you has successfully navigated the same journey on which you are about to embark: A journey that is decidedly easier when you have a guide who has done it all before.
Our experts are the young associates that top firms send to your campus to conduct interviews. They are the associates you must impress if you make it to the callback stage. All of our experts attained over a 95% initial interview to callback ratio during their 2L interviewing season. None had less than 8 summer associate or federal clerkship offers. None of these experts were ranked in the top 10% of their graduating class. Clearly, such consistent success in interviewing comes from some intangible other than grades and law review credentials. That something is the ability to make an interviewer like you: To convince them that you are the person they want to work alongside in the future, at the exclusion of all others. Make no mistake, this is a competition. An offer to you is at the exclusion of a classmate.
Academics alone are not sufficient to ensure that it is you, and not your classmates, receiving the offers. In this highly competitive market for legal positions, you are being judged on everything: Grades, attitude, appearance, work experience, extra-curricular involvement and enthusiasm. You need every advantage you can get to highlight your strengths, and you absolutely cannot afford to have nervousness or self doubt masking your true potential.
